Assumpte: [Exim] Bad data from mailer
Our backup software sends notifications via smtp,
naturally they dont work.
Snooping with tcpdump I was able to find out following.
Backup Exec 9.0 from Veritas send folloving:
MAIL FROM: <"BE90" <backupexec@???>>
and Exim responds like this:
501 <"BE90" <backupexec@???>>: "@" or "." expected after ""BE90""
Is there any way to tell Exim to accept that as I dont believe that
the people at Veritas will fix their crap.
