I'm running my custom exim 4.04 with informative error messages
(
http://marc.merlins.org/linux/exim/ )
and I got this one:
<bugtraq-local at merlins.org>: host mail.merlins.org[204.80.101.251] said: 550
Rejected during DATA, bad syntax: malformed address: <hdlkha@???>\n
may not follow hdlkha@??? : failing address in "From" header is:
hdlkha@??? <hdlkha@???>
The header from was:
From: hdlkha@??? <hdlkha@???>
Note that my code doesn't generate the actual error, it just reports it back
as an error instead of the unhelpful "administrative prohibition"
Are double quotes required around "hdlkha@???" ?
(or what else could be wrong?)
Thanks
Marc
