If you're using the Cyrus IMAP system, it's quite easy - you just use the
Cyrus
sieve capability instead of Exim filtering. There are a couple of Web
interfaces
to Sieve; if you set one up on a secure web server it will protect the
passwords
and sieve filters from snooping. And it has the advantage of inherently
using
the same authentication database and mechanisms as your IMAP/POP server.
