Subject: [Exim] Setting up mail for the first time
Howdy all.

My name is Eric from South Africa I joined the mailing list last night.

I'm hoping you can help me. I'm completely new at setting up and running
a mail server so please bear with me.

I need to setup a mail server with either Exim or another MTA. (I chose
Exim for its apparent ease of use)

The system I'm running is a Redhat 7.2 server Celeron 500 128MB Ram and
10GB HDD with DSL connection.

Ive tried Google and looking at Exim man pages and places like Linuxdocs
but have come up empty handed. Not that there is a lack of data but to
be honest I'm not sure what to look for and there is too much data to.

Could somebody please help me with the steps to go through to set this
up and maybe where I can get the correct documentation considering my
lack of mail server setup experience.

The mail server needs to fulfill the following prerequisites.

1. Host multiple (virtual) domains sending and receiving mail
2. Allow individual account names for the domains.
    i.e. john@???, john@??? john@???
with all three users "john" having their own separate mail boxes
3. The ability to add and remove users from different domains without
affecting the other domains whatsoever.

I hope this has not been to long winded.

Thanks to all
Cheers
Eric
