[Exim] Retry exceeded

Hi all,

i'm setting up my Exim for doing as MX backup for some domains.

One of that domain now i down (about for 4 hours), i've setted retry rules
in this way:

relaydomain.com            *           F,8h,15m; F,3d,1h;

but when i send a message, a reply is made to the sender:

retry time not reached for any host after a long failure period

I've tryied to add this option in the smtp transport:

delay_after_cutoff = false

but it doesn't solve my problem.

How can i set exim to wait until the retry timeout set for that domain?
