I haven't seen that version of the draft, but I have read the -03
version, where it states:
(5) Reorder queried result based on implementation-dependent preference
between A and AAAA records. If you would like to encourage the
transition from IPv4 SMTP to IPv6 SMTP, AAAAs should take
precedence.
I took a neutral position on that one, and didn't take any action.
I will see if the -05 draft has made that a more positive requirement.
(And in any case, as I said in a previous message, I will look into
making changes to Exim.)
