As said before, exim is configured to accept domain literals, the
corresponding option allow_domain_literals is set. But the sender
cannot be set to a domain literal.

Direct SMTP using MAIL FROM:<user@[ip]> or RCPT TO:<user@[ip]> works,
commandline exim -f '<user@[ip]>' does not.
