you dont need MX record for home operations, but make sure dyndns does not set
it up for you.
do
nslookup
set query=mx
youdomain
or set query=any
yourdomain
and make sure there is no MX records anywhere. also since you use DDNS, other
DNS servers might take their time to update records (they use cached old ip), so
thats another reason.
