In the manual there is a syntax to send a string to the log file from
within filers. That should do your trick if and only if you have access
to the filter. Otherwise, I don' think it's possible -- my view is that
users should be aware of what they are doing... *laughs* Yeah, I'm
candid (read: evil?) that way.
