Shouldn't be. Addresses are treated entirely independently.

I suspect the only way we'll understand this is when it happens again,
if you can run a delivery with -Mc and debugging turned on, to see what
Exim thinkgs it is doing. (Note: -Mc and not -M, so as not to override
the retry data.)
