Just a note to see if I am on the right track.
I had a customer who's email wouldn't travel to aol.ca.
I looked in my logs and find that I get an immediate "connection
refused" from aol.ca
After putting a trouble ticket in to aol, they advise that aol.com
handles email for aol.ca.
When doing a dig on aol.ca I find _no_ MX record for them, just an 'A'
record which points to
www.aol.ca
No wonder I get a disconnect ;-/
The tech at aol tells me I should coax my mail server to speak to
aol.com
This is bogus is it not? Can someone confirm that their (aol) DNS really
is incorrect, and in need to fixing _rather_ than my MTA ?
