I use:
IN MAIN:
queue_smtp_domains = *
And to stop exim doing the DNS lookups for your ISPs mail server
Routers:
send_to_gateway:
driver = manualroute
domains = ! +local_domains
route_list = * 0.0.0.0 byname
transport = remote_smtp
Change the 0.0.0.0 to be the ISPs Mail server dotted IP
Drivers: (In case this doesn't exist)
remote_smtp:
driver = smtp
