OK, I just lost a number of incoming messages because I had messed up the
permissions on my mailbox file. Error messages were sent to the original
senders, according to the Exim log. Is there any way I can recover these
messages? If not, can I configure Exim (version 3.34) so that it will keep
such messages in the future, instead of, or in addition to, sending error
messages?
