I don't like it as a general thing, but Exim is open software. If you
want to add your own special-purpose patches, that's fine by me.

Note that ! is a legal character in local parts. It may not be used in
your installation, but Exim can't assume that in general.

Thank you. It is indented the way I have been indenting code since 1968,
which is long before the C language was invented... :-)
