I've problems with exim+exiscan+sophos!!!
-It works, but the number of delayed messages grows too much.
-We tested our site with an HP-UX host (600MB RAM). It is not a fast host,
but only works for email services.
We've configured exiscan to: 5 childs for scanning, 10 childs
for dequeueing
if the test starts... normal delaying....but after 1 hour we have
found too many nonchecked/nondelivered messages in the queue directory
After 1 hour I see delay times of 40-45 min ???
At the start of our test 1 can find check times of the sophos sweep
command of 5sec ... at the end 30-40sec...
I know, that it will be better, if I check this work with our original
server, which is much faster, but I'm afraid, that exiscan will fill
the whole server (CPU) and the server is not only the manager of
our email service...
