Hello,
I've only just setup exim (3.3.4) on my Ultra 60 running Solaris 8. It was a
fairly painless install. I've got experience with other mail products like
Intermail, but I'm baffled by one simple thing at mo.
I've setup 2 local domains called ITSUPPLIES.NET (62.190.240.154) &
ITEQUIPMENT.NET. I can send 'outbound' SMTP out from these domains to say a
TALK21.COM address from my PC on the same Subnet by relaying thru the Ultra
out through ADSL router. I can then 'pop' this mail back in via PC with no
probs.
I can also send local mails between these 'local' domains. BUT I just can't
seem to figure out why I cannot get any mail sent from any other domain to
these domains. For instance, sending from the TALK21.com web mail interface
to john@??? . It just goes to dev/null. I have not rec'd any
'bounces' , nor do I get any thing in the EXIM log files to say its been
rejected, no a sniff in fact in any logs on EXIM....
DNS looks fine for the domains. :

I'm not being blocked by any f/w's either!... SMTP/POP is fine, as the PC
can pop other accounts.
I've looked through EXIMS conf file and cannot find any real 'booboo's...
I'm hoping I'm missing summat real stoopid..
If anyone needs 'snippets' from the exim conf file, let me know.
