Could I suggest you also post this on to bugtraq for completeness, maybe
without the full patch set (can always reference the archived message on
exim.org).
Also, one nit that caught my eye in the original message:-
Subject: Exim 3.34 and lower
first lets take a look at the file:
[2xs:root:~] ls -la /usr/exim/bin/exim
-rws--x--x 1 root root 2061186 Oct 23 12:56
/usr/exim/bin/exim*
So their binary has a date of 23 October, 2001 on it. Exim 3.34 was not
released at this time - exim 3.33 was current then (released late
august). Now 3.34 did not have any changes that affected these
particular bugs, but stating one version and apparently testing a
different one appears to be problematic....
