[Exim] pop-before-smtp and exim

The file that the daemon is outputting is using the berkeley database library, and I have made sure that I have compiled db
support in to exim.

However my hosts_accept_relay line


host_accept_relay = 127.0.0.0/8 : lsearch;/etc/exim/pop-before-smtp.db

doesn't appear to be checking that file when I'm sending email out, it is still refusing to relay from that IP.

Does the host-accept-relay line above look right, or is there something else I have to add to the config to get this to
work???
