When you say "addressed to", I assume you mean the actual envelope
recipient address, not the To: or Cc: address. If not, ...
Did you try exim -bt ukgenetics.rm@??? to make Exim route it
again, to see what it said? And if 216.102.246.27, then try with -d9 to
get more detail.
Did you try checking all the DNS servers for btinternet.com to see if
they were in step with each other? (They appear to be _now_.)
