I, for one, would appreciate this feature.

I would suggest it be optional (because of the additional time required to
do the searches), and
also add an option to only check the first and last hosts in the list. This
would allow us to catch
the SPAM that has been routed through some poor unsuspecting slob who hasn't
figured out
how to stop mail relaying through them. It would also stop email that came
through your backup
MX host.

Would it be a good addition to have exim go through a 2nd round of rbl host
checking after the message is reieved fom the connecting host that chrecks
all
the intermediate hosts. This would allow triggering on messages sent via
known
relays ie rss.mail-abuse.org or Spews.relays.OsiruSoft.com.

It would be intensive and what do you do with the message now?

What about a check of all hosts at reception time?
