but then if you serialise then you would get a build up of mail to that host while a few mails would be processed. When the queue get read again then a whole raft would then be sent down one connection. So it wouldn't relly solve the problem. What about the possibility of passing delivery out to another MTA or putting together a peice of perl that processes all messages in a way that slows down delivery?
