Hello,
I have just installed EXIM 3.34 on a Solaris 2.6 (Sun Enterprise 450)
machine that has sendmail disabled. Install worked correctly. Only when I
startup Exim okay .... exim -bd
when I type exim to send mail from the command line I get the following
error
#exim
#/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 0: cannot open: No such file or directory
I have installed the exact same system on another machine ( that never had
sendmail) and it works fine.
