[Exim] freeze a email

how do i go about freezing (and tossing i guess) an email in 24 hours rather then 7 days etc....

problem is i am getting 7-10k messages in our queue and i would like to see those messages that are sitting in there to be flushed
after say....24 hours rather then sitting there and the system keep trying to deliver them
