let me introduce myself. my name is r. senthil kumar. i am working as a system administrator.
till december 2001 we were awailing leased line service from one of our ISP in chennai, tamilnadu, india.after that we decided not to use the service and got it terminated. after that we were not able to receive mails addressed to our office id unless we are connected to the net through ISDN line. even we were not able to send and receive mails with in our office.
at this juncture, i accepted an assignment, which involves configuring intranet mail.
i opted to use exim.
i downloaded exim-3.34 from the ftp site specified in an linux book.
also i downloaded the corresponding .pdf and .html files.
i did everything as per instructions given in the manual.
after installing and configuring exim, i tested out.
when i send mail from my server, where exim is installed using
/usr/exim/bin exim rsenthil@???
