Well, you've got the right stuff in LOOKUP_LIBS. Now we need to find
out whether LOOKUP_LIBS was actually _used_ at link time.

Can you show me partial output from the build? It'll be one of the last
lines of output, between '/bin/rm -f exim' and '/usr/bin/strip exim'.
