I am moving majordomo onto our new SMTP hubs, which run exim 3.22
( separate queue-processing and listener processes, as we are also running
MailScanner )

I have set up the lists and the alias tables, and then testing with -bt
all seems well: mail to testlist is shown as piped to the resend process,
and testlist-reallist expands to the users I expect:-

sh-2.04$ /usr/sbin/exim -C /essex/exim/withmajordomo -bt
> testlist

testlist@??? -> | /essex/majordomo/wrapper resend -l testlist
testlist-reallist
> testlist-reallist

testtoweb@??? -> | /essex/majordomo/testtoweb.sh
gl@???
<-- testlist-reallist@???
deliver to gl@???
router = lookuphost, transport = remote_smtp
host mail.totalise.co.uk  [217.197.192.130] MX=20
a_stanier@???
<-- testlist-reallist@???
deliver to a_stanier@???
router = lookuphost, transport = remote_smtp
host mx2.mail.yahoo.com [64.157.4.88]    MX=1
a_stanier@???
<-- testlist-reallist@???
deliver to a_stanier@???
router = lookuphost, transport = remote_smtp
host mx05.hotmail.com [64.4.56.199]  MX=5
testlist-local@exchange2
<-- testlist-local@???
<-- testlist-reallist@???
deliver to testlist-local@???
router = lookuphost, transport = remote_smtp
host sernt14.essex.ac.uk [155.245.240.183]

BUT, when I run the queue-processing exim with the modifed configuration
file, testlist-reallist is not recognised:

[root@serlinux14 log]# tail -f mainlog | grep testlist
2002-01-08 14:23:58 16Nx8u-0003js-00 => | /essex/majordomo/wrapper resend -l
testlist testlist-reallist <testlist@???> D=local_aliases
T=address_pipe
2002-01-08 14:23:59 16NxAU-0003nj-00 ** testlist-reallist@???:
unknown local-part "testlist-reallist" in domain "essex.ac.uk"

I am now a little confused (not unusual). I suspect I've missed something
obvious, but can anyone suggest what it might be?

Thanks
