Well, to be honest, I apparently didn't RTFM thoroughly enough. RFC
1413/identd didn't click when I was reading the spec nor when I was
looking at the source. I guess I was in too much of a hurry to get exim
up and running. One of my machines had been rooted (buggy sshd) and
getting mail back up was a huge priority for me. No excuse, I know. Ah
well.
