Asunto: [Exim] Odd behavior with DynDns backup MX
Ok, this is very strange. I need help. I have exim on two machines in the
DynDNS domain. One is almost always up (DSL) the other is only up around 50%
of the time. DSL machine is shortcircuit, the other machine (on a dialup) is
called EgliFam (my wife's idea). So I setup my dyndns record for
eglifam.dyndns.org to point to shortcircuit.dyndns.org as a backup MX. Exim
recieves the mail no prob, tries to connect to eglifam, cannot connect. But
instead of storing the mail and waiting, it tries to connect to itself
(using it's other names). IT keeps looping till finally it quits after
detecting a possible mail loop.

Here's a log segment:

Whats going on? Why is it always calling itself again? slkcdslgw9boolb110 is
the address my DSL currently has from my local TelCo.

Any help is appreciated!
