This does not work due to the way our Mysql-lookup works. After doing more
rtfm and also assured by the answers here on the list, I believe that
"envelope_to_add" is all what can be done on my side (it's been active all
the time), all other dutys are those of the exchange admin.
Funny indeed is that the exchange admin has been exchanged in the meantime
- which obviously automagically solved the problem... :)

PS: For those who might be interested: the only planet-wide mailing list
for HP-UX just got offline due to a sendmail 8.11.6 host that continously
sends all messages back to the list's address. Now I understand why one
has to be registered to post here on exim-users...
