[Exim] Undeliverable messages

I am using exim 3.12 and Debian potato. I am testing another mail server,
and a bunch of test messages have failed.

I see all of the messages are located in /var/spool/exim/input..

Is it safe to just delete these messages? I know retry will not work, due
to the nature of the test messages....
