Unless you use a service like dyndns.org although I don't know how reliable
that is.
Anybody used it?

well it is, but since you pay extra if you want your own static ip-address,
the provider disconnects you every few hours, so you get a new ip-address
upon reconnecting and therefore can't host your own website or receive mail
w/out their mail-server.
