Not just any FQDN -- It must be _the_ canonical _hostname_ for the client.
I.e. a hostname that resolves to an A record matching the client source
address.
(or a properly formatted literal representation of the client's source
IP address, eg. "[127.0.0.1]")
RFC 1123 Section 5.2.5 (and/or whatever relevant section from RFC 2821)
