out of question. that'd require significant hardware upgrades, which
even given todays hardware prices, is not an option for a hungarian
academic organization.

but Philip's idea seems to be a good start. i'm massaging tod_epoch
into exim 3.33 as i type this, and i'll see what i can get out of it.
