If the process is there, and running, but not responding, attach truss
or strace to the process (truss -p <pid>). Couple of reasons to try
this: i've seen this kickstart processes on Solaris before, and it might
give you a better idea as to why it's hung (check the output for a rough
idea of what it's trying to do - but you may need to know a bit of
systems programming to understand it)
