I'm using solid-pop3d from CVS (the deb package [0.15] doesn't support it,
and the author doesn't seem in any hurry to release 0.16, though redHat
uses the CVS and calls it 0.16) and it works <mostly> great. It has to
run from inetd (daemon mode makes Netscape give fits) but this is not a
problem if you run xinetd. I've also hacked OpenWebMail to support the
md5 password scheme it uses. I don't think it will support bulletins
because of the way the program checks status, but I may try to fix these
at some distant point in the future.
I can send you my .deb if you're interested, OpenWebMail isn't packaged.
