|
|     Hi all,
|     I tried to setup exim server SMTP AUTH in a exim 3.12 server.
|     I got the following errors in syslog:
|
| 2001-10-15 18:34:15 Authentication failed for (user)
| [200.165.229.162]: 435 Unable to authenticate at present: unknown
| condition "pam"
|
|     My exim.conf has:
|
| plain:
|    driver = plaintext
|    public_name = PLAIN
|    server_set_id = $2
|    server_condition = ${if pam{$2:$3}{1}{0}}
|
| login:
|    driver = plaintext
|    public_name = LOGIN
|    server_prompts = "Username:: : Password::"
|    server_condition = ${if pam{$1:$2}{1}{0}}
|    server_set_id = $1
|
|     In /etc/pam.d/exim I have
|
| auth       required   pam_unix.so nullok
| account    required   pam_unix.so
| session    required   pam_unix.so
|
|     What can be wrong?
|     TIA,        Paulo Henrique
