Your version of 'host' is antique.
$ host -V
host version 991529
Get the newest one at:
ftp://ftp.nikhef.nl/pub/network/host.tar.Z
$ host -t mx telemar-rj.com.br
telemar-rj.com.br MX 1 mailgwo01.telemar.com.br
!!! telemar-rj.com.br MX host mailgwo01.telemar.com.br is not canonical
telemar-rj.com.br MX 0 mailgwi01.telemar.com.br
!!! telemar-rj.com.br MX host mailgwi01.telemar.com.br is not canonical
The target hostnames of MX RRs _MUST_ be canonical hostnames, i.e. names
that when resolved in the DNS return A RRs.
Note also the illegal SOA contact address field:
$ host -C telemar-rj.com.br
telemar-rj.com.br NS MARTE.telemar-rj.com.br
venus.telemar.com.br root\@telemar-rj.com.br (2001100101 10800 600 691200 43200)
!!! telemar-rj.com.br SOA primary venus.telemar.com.br is not advertised via NS
telemar-rj.com.br NS VENUS.telemar-rj.com.br
venus.telemar.com.br root\@telemar-rj.com.br (2001100101 10800 600 691200 43200)
that should be:
venus.telemar.com.br root.telemar-rj.com.br (2001100101 10800 600 691200 43200)
