Hmm that's a bit odd. Perhaps you could try running it
as -oX 2525 -d9 and then telnetting to port 2525 from
another console.
I think it might not be treating -bh in exactly the
same way as a normal telnet session, if you're not getting
that 421 after the 550 - it's all I can think of at
least.
