[Exim] Feeding email back through the system

Suppose i set up a spam filter that saved spam to a file:

save /var/mail/spam

Then - I look at the file and find non-spam messages in it ... how can I
take the spam file and stuff it back into the system for another
delivery atempt? Can this be done?
