I believe the default MTA for Mandrake 8.1 is Postfix. There are some
peculiarities in the recent Red Hat sendmail init script and the LM Postfix
init scripts, so the quickest yet not too elegant workaround would probably be
echo "/path/to/exim -bd" >> /etc/rc.local
