i tried this:

the file "/etc/exim/smart-hosts" contains this:

gmx.de: mail.gmx.de
sinneswandel.net: mail.sinneswandel.de
*: mail.schlund.de

but this is ignored, exim delivers (email-from ist "user@???") with
mail.schlund.de, not with mail.gmx.de
