[Exim] password authentication (PAM)

Hi,

could someone please tell me a solution instead of Linux PAM to password
authentication? Beacuse Linux PAM doesn't work, and I need my users to be
authenticated with their passwords.

If you could send me your appropriate config file items, I'd be thankful.

(Formerly someone wrote about a solution to this list, but I am unable to
find it. He used a separate file to store passwords and then searched this
file.)
