Indeed. Ultimately, the winner (whether it exists or not) is going to
be the MTA that boasts a central queue manager, something that doesn't
exist in Exim.
That's the question the original poster should ask of qmail and Postfix,
assuming we're right in guessing that he's sending lots of personalized
messages, one recipient-per-message.
And then, of course, there's the question "by how much does the winner
need to win"? Although my gut tells me Postfix would win this
particular performance contest, Exim has many other benefits, not the
least of which being that I know it. :-)
