When my ISP used to handle my mail for me I used to use email addresses in
the form
stuart.exem@???
stuart.kde@???
etc so I could tell which company had sold my email address to spamming
companies, or which mailing list they'd got it from, but since I installed
Exim and started using my own smtp server, this is broken.
Is there any way to set up something similar in exim so that when an address
with a "." in the user part arrives it will get delivered to the user name on
the left of the "."
