Looks like you have a LDAP version mismatch.

If you didn't put

LDAP_LIB_TYPE=OPENLDAP2

in Local/Makefile that's what your problem is. If you don't specify the
LDAP_LIB_TYPE variable then the Exim build process assumes you have
OpenLDAP 1.x, whereas RH7.1 has OpenLDAP 2.0.x.
