We have a mail hub and the local_domain=unl.ac.uk
We are trying to deliver mail to various people who don't have an account on
mail hub.
The alias file is of the form:
I.Surname: <remote_uid>@remote.unl.ac.uk
The alias file is of the form:
remote_aliases:
driver = aliasfile
file = /exim/remote.cdb
search_type = cdb
file_transport = address_file
pipe_transport = address_pipe
In the router configuration we only have:
lookuphost:
driver = lookuphost
transport = remote_smtp
ignore_target_hosts = 127.0.0.0/8
We can not send the mail to remote.unl.ac.uk. I was expecting to be able to
resolve the name for S.Choudhury to sujit@??? and expecting the
mail to go to remote.unl.ac.uk via smtp. This is not happening. What am I
doing wrong?
