[i read Philip's reply to the previous one in the meantime, but
started writing this before so i'm finishing it. this illustrates a
very stupid and very real-life example that there are circumstances
one can't protect herself.
thanks for the bsmtp tipp, Philip, i'll take a closert look at it.
i'm happy we agree on etrn :)]
but still, to any of the domains, not neccessarily to only theirs.
besides (yes, i know this is a screwup of the whole idea of the etrn
thing, but had to do it... i enjoyed crafting it at least :>), a
little while ago i had a case where the client who wished to get their
mail by etrn had dynamic ip (sure, you can do networks in a host-list,
but if you have several of them, it's essentially smtp_etrn_hosts =
*...), and the whole screwed up idea was that they dial in, go to a
web page, hit a button saying 'gimme my mails' and they get it.
although this gives an opportunity to some kind of authentication and
authoritzation, still...
i managed to get this to work, it's nice (exim-wise) and a mess
(otherwise)...
