Hello exim-users,
exiscan 2.2, a complete rewrite of my virus scanner for exim,
is available on
http://duncanthrax.net/exiscan/
It is now running multithreaded, with parallel unpacking, scanning and
dequeueing.
Sophos, McAfee and Kapersky's AVPDaemon (fast!) are supported out of the
box.
Support for other virus scanners can be easily integrated by setting a few
options in the config file
Features en detail:
- multithreaded
- sender, reciever & admin notification
(switchable, with custom texts)
- generic scanner support
- unpacks TNEF and SMIME-signed messages
- syslog logging
- fully transparent to exim, only mimimal config
file changes, NO extra transports/directors ..
- all mails only scanned once, no matter how
many recipients
- no re-sending of messages
- message tagging.
