Tárgy: [Exim] Reply-To and header verification
Hello!

I looked into maillist archive and found mention about rejecting mail with
empty Reply-To: field which was fixed.
But I'v met a particular case of empty Reply-To field which RFC-compliant:

Reply-To: Any text here :;

In according to RFC it must be intepreted as empty!

But message with it is rejected by Exim with this message:
syntax error in 'Reply-To' header when scanning for sender: missing or
malformed
local part (expected word or "<") in ""Do not reply, write a new message"
:;" (
envelope sender is <errors@???>).

Here is a part of header:

Date: Wed, 29 Aug 2001 10:42:05 +0400 (MSD)
I Message-Id: <200108290642.f7T6g5L75768@???>
T To: sem@???
F From: Fido7 Auto Moderator <gatekeeper@???>
R Reply-To: "Do not reply, write a new message" :;
Subject: Article not acceptable
MIME-Version: 1.0

So From: and To: addresses is OK.
I think the trick is to place message "Do not reply, write a new message"
into destination address when user try reply to this letter.

I gess it must be fixed for Reply-To: field. Because in "header
verification" part of documentation statemented: " Exim does some checking
of the RFC 822 headers" :)
