No. What the lawyers were saying was that the law in South Africa did
not even require disclosure.

It's likened to a couple who conduct a conversation on the privately
owned property of a third party. The third party is under no obligation
to disclose the fact that he or she is listening in.

But examples are bad, because then people end up arguing about the
examples instead of the point. The point is, in at least one country in
the world, the company "owns" its employees' communications, with or
without disclosure of the fact.
